    Simple and tasty sandwiches
    Great for lunch, they have one of the best chicken salad sandwiches in Dearborn.
    California veggie and God mother subs are also worth trying.

    Big and tasty sandwiches. On my first trip here I tried the "Godfather" sub.

    The sub is a huge 12-inch with fresh cut deli meat. It comes with pretty much whatever veggies you want, plus a nice Italian dressing.

    The bread was one of the highlights and was super fresh. It held up very well to all the meat without being overkill.

    Not the best sandwich, but it'll do in a pinch.

    The staff here are friendly and fast. I was out the door in under 10 minutes.

    Expect to pay $6-7 / sandwich

    Pro tip: get plenty of napkins!

    I love the godmother sandwich. But my all time favorite is Tuesday special taco salad.
    I actually add Avocado, sour cream and black olives to mine. It taste so goo.

    Great deli sandwiches. Home made feeling. Large portions. Will definitely come back. Would love to see some chicken options which is missing from the menu.

    There really need to be more spots like La Penguina for lunch. I had an awesome lunch that didn't break the bank at all and I was completely satisfied. For a stacked high chicken salad sandwich, with a bag of better made chips and a pop it was less than 8 dollars. Service was fast as well. Totally recommend for anyone in the Dearborn area looking for a inexpensive quality lunch.
